At Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS), our Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll, (AHI) and Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital (TDMH) Volunteers are an integral part of our hospital and make it possible for us to provide exceptional care and services to our patients. Every day, volunteers bring comfort, compassion, and support to patients, families, and team members. From offering a friendly smile and directions, to assisting in patient care areas or supporting special programs, volunteers help create a welcoming and healing environment. Our hospitals could not operate without the donation of time and talent by our many volunteers.

Types of Volunteer Roles

Volunteer shifts generally range from two to six hours each. Some volunteers give a few hours a month; some give a few hours a week; and some, a few hours a day.

There’s not always an opening in each role, but we will do everything possible to accommodate your preference.
