Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll (AHI), a part of Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) has Rehabilitation Services available to inpatients only. The team is made up of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy Assistants, and Dietitians who work together to help patients maximize their function and independence during recovery. Inpatient Physiotherapy is available Monday through Friday, while Inpatient Occupational Therapy is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

What to wear? 

Please wear comfortable clothing and non-slip footwear (closed heel preferred).

Items not covered by OHIP 

There are some items that you will be billed for e.g., crutches, air cast boots, splints etc. There is also a charge for completion of an Assistive Devices Program (ADP) application, please speak your health care provider for costs.
