RRHS – TDMH TCU Transition
Tillsonburg, ON – The Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital (TDMH) of Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) Transitional Care Unit (TCU) opened on April 1, 2025, as a temporary, 12-bed unit for patients
awaiting their next care destination whether that be Long-Term Care (LTC), Retirement Homes, or a return home with appropriate community support. Since opening, the unit had experienced many positive patient outcomes with successful transitions. RRHS is grateful for the funding from the Ministry of Health since early 2025 that allowed this hospital unit to function.
